Careem partners with PTCL-expands its Corporate Portfolio

Careem, the most used app also called the Super App in the greater Middle East, and Pakistan has partnered with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd. (PTCL). The primary purpose of this partnership is to provide the employees of PTCL with a cost-friendly mobility service.

This partnership will allow Careem to provide safe, secure, hassle-free, and convenient mobility for around 16,000+ employees across the various regions. To mark this occasion of the partnership of two big platforms, a signing ceremony commenced at PTCL’s head office located in Islamabad. The senior leadership of both organizations was present at the ceremony.

The General Manager, Ride-Hailing, Careem Pakistan, named Mohsin Zaka, while commenting on this partnership, said:

“We are delighted to provide our corporate services to PTCL. Careem for Business is a solution catering directly to the evolving mobility needs of organizations. Collaborations such as these will undoubtedly assist companies in significantly improving mobility experience for the entire workforce through our platform, which offers considerable control, flexibility and cost savings”.

Syed Mazhar Hussain, the Group Chief Human Resource Officer, PTCL & Ufone, expressed his gratitude on this occasion. He said:

“We are glad to partner with Careem to provide seamless mobility for our workforce across Pakistan. This collaboration will not only create more value and convenience for PTCL employees, but it will also ensure a more secure and easy mode for traveling.”

Careem is currently offering cost-efficient and safe mobility to multiple corporate partners. These include Jazz, K-Electric, Daraz, Telenor, Habib Bank Limited (HBL), United Bank Limited (UBL), Nestlé, Haleeb Foods, and Afiniti. It is thus living up to its mission of improving and simplifying the lives of people.

Careem is one of the most efficient mobility apps in the Middle East and Pakistan with over 800,000 Captains registered on its platform so far. The organization is expanding gradually as it’s no more limited to passengers’ mobility only but is involved in transporting food, money, and other daily essentials. This partnership is another such step.
