The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has projected that Eidul Fitr will be celebrated on May 3, claiming that the Shawwal moon will not be visible anywhere in Pakistan on the evening of Ramadan 29.
Waziristan, a hilly region of northwest Pakistan, and Afghanistan, on the other hand, are celebrating Eid today after seeing the Shawwal moon the day before.
