OnePlus confirmed the launch of its new handset called the OnePlus 9 last week. The launch date was also released, which is 23rd March 2021. The new handset is coming with new camera features and some other improvements. Now, as the launch is approaching, the company has unveiled some more details about the handset.
The CEO of OnePlus-Pete Lau announced a piece of excellent, good news for the users. He said that those who purchase the OnePlus 9 smartphones would get two years of official warranty. However, he did not explain whether this offer is an application globally or limited to Chinese users.
This news will gather the interest of a lot of customers towards the product. The offer is quite unusual as the smartphones usually come with a standard one-year warranty in the market. The company has offered a two-year warranty. The research says that most people replace their smartphones after 2 years.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 9 5G is expected to come in a 6.5-inch display screen FHD+AMOLED and a 120Hz refresh rate. Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB of internal storage are other features.
In addition to this, the OnePlus 9 Pro device that accompanies this one will have a 6.67-inch display. All other specifications will be pretty much the same.
