Rasheed Naz, a renowned actor in Pakistani television and film, died today at the age of 73. In 3 p.m., the funeral prayer for Rashid Naz was offered at Faqirabad Eidgah.
Rashid Naz, the great actor, was born in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 9, 1948. In a number of films and dramas, he demonstrated the core of his performance. He began his television career as an actor in a Pashto drama in 1971. Rasheed Naz has appeared in dramas in Pashto, Hindko, and Urdu. ‘Ek Tha Gaon,’ which aired on PTV in 1973, was his debut Urdu drama. Namoos was his first well-received play. With Abid Ali, he also starred in Pakistan’s first ever private television production drama, ‘Dasht.’
He worked in Inkar, Khuda Zameen, Pathar, Namoos, Deedan, and Diyar E Dil, to name a few. In addition to Khuda Aur Mohabbat and Karachi Say Lahore, he worked on Khuda Aur Mohabbat and Karachi Say Lahore.
