On February 4th, Sunday, Pervez Musharraf passed away at a hospital in Dubai. He was a general in the Pakistani armed forces and the country’s president for seven years. For many years, he had been engaged in a protracted battle with the rare disease Amyloidosis. Age-wise, he was 79.
All renowned international news sources also reported on the news of his passing. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement shortly after former president Pervez Musharraf passed away in which they offered their sincere condolences.
According to earlier reports, plans were being made to return the country’s sick former military leader to his home country following his self-imposed exile, but he was unable to make it and passed away in the United Arab Emirates.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) offered comfort shortly after his passing. According to the military media, General Sahir Shamshad, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the heads of all the services have sent their deepest sympathies.
