However, legal experts in Pakistan claim that this was a violation of the country’s constitution. Imran Khan had previously fired Punjab governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar. Sarwar accepted the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister last Friday, and the position has been empty since then.
