Parvez Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab, has stated that public educational institutions will offer free education up to and including graduation. On the eve of Independence Day, the PTI-backed chief minister made the declaration while speaking at a flag-raising ceremony at Lahore Fort.
Elahi recalled that during his previous term as chief minister, he had declared free education up to the matriculation level.
He also lavishly honored the military and police martyrs who gave their lives to defend their country.
The chief minister also praised General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the COAS of the army, for his efforts to end terrorism in the nation.
