Due to their outstanding performance, a Pakistani team took first place in an international fireworks competition hosted in Russia’s capital city. The competition featured up to eight teams from around the globe, with the Pakistani team being led by Shahid Mahmood Butt.

In keeping with the rhythm of the national anthem Iss Parcham Kay Saye Talay Hum Aik Hain, which is played during the South Asian nation’s Independence Day celebrations in August, the Pakistani contestants demonstrated their proficiency with fireworks. After the judges proclaimed the Pakistani team the victor, Butt accepted the trophy on their behalf.
