Xiaomi’s first foldable phone has been the talk of the town for a while. However, according to some leaked information from the digital world, it’s expected that the long wait is finally going to end. The leak says that the upcoming foldable phone by Xiaomi is going to set a benchmark.
The name of the device will be Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Pro Max, as the leaked information says. Xiaomi’s foldable device will feature an inward folding design. The intricate folding design of the phone will resemble the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.
In January, a Xiaomi foldable device that fits the description given above was spotted on a Subway in China. Soon after that, a foldable phone by the same company having model number M2011J18C surfaced on TENAA. Despite being found two times, the design, specifications, and details of the device were not available anywhere.
According to the founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Ross Young, Xiaomi is all set and determined to launch three foldable phones this year.
When talking about the upcoming mobile phones, Ross Young specifically mentioned the phone with inward folding. He added that the inward folding device would come with a display supplied by China Star (CSOT). The panel of the upcoming folding handset is expected to be 8.03 inches diagonally when unfolded. The secondary display will be a 6.38-inch OLED panel with a standard refresh rate.
Another fantastic thing that’s reported is that Samsung will be providing displays for one of the Xiaomi foldable devices.
